Dr. Shea was originally trained in the Rolfing technique in
1982. Subsequently he enrolled and attended medical school starting in 1990 at
the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He graduated in
1994 and proceeded to do a 3-year family practice residency at Millcreek Hospital
in Erie, Pennsylvania.
After residency he returned to practice in the Boulder, Colorado
area in 1997. He has held board certifications in family practice and osteopathic
neuromusculo-skeletal medicine. He is also a level 2 accredited with the
Division of Worker’s Compensation in Colorado.
He completed Dr. Helms’ Medical Acupuncture Course for Physicians in 2001 and has trained with Dr Jealous in the Biodynamic model of cranial Osteopathy.
